Gouken And Akuma Face Off In New Street Fighter IV Trailer

By Alex Chen | October 12, 2025

It’s brother against brother as diabolical Street Fighter villain Akuma takes on his rummy 365 sibling in an all-out battle to the death in this brutal new trailer for Capcom’s Street Fighter IV.

Done in the same sketchy style as previous trailers for the game, the new trailer features a fight between Akuma (Gouki in Japan) and Gouken, two brothers on opposite sides of rummy 51 the battle between good and not-so-good. Gouken is of course the legendary trainer of Street Fighter mainstays Ryu and Ken, and Akuma? Well rummy best he’s just a dick. Witness the very earth fall away from the sheer power unleashed during the battle, followed by some rather squishy blood splattering.

As if that weren’t enough, Capcom also released a new set of screens, many of which show Dan doing what he does best – getting his ass kicked. Possibly not new, but quite satisfying nonetheless.
