As long as Japanese gamers keep buying Yakuza games at this rate, Sega’s going to keep making them. The latest chapter in Sega’s Japanese gangster series just put a hurt on the competition to the tune of 384,000 copies sold. That’s enough to kick Nintendo’s latest Pokemon spin-off, Pokemon Ranger:
Hikari no Kiseki, from first to third, with another Japanese mainstay, Gundam, grabbing second. The new Gundam Assault Survive for PSP debuted with 91,000 copies sold.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: pg123 "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); https://kotaku.com/pokemon-rangers-hold-back-bad-company-on-japans-softwar-5496680 The rest of the top ten is largely familiar, with New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Tomodachi Collection continuing to keep Nintendo in the (ever)green. The latter is poised to cross the 3 million sold mark this week.
